Dawn Meats, established in Co Waterford in 1980, is a 2^nd generation family owned Irish company with operations in 9 European countries marketing quality beef and lamb products to a global customer base in 40 countries.  Dawn Meats sells 90% of its products in overseas markets and employs more than 3,300 people at 24 locations in Ireland, the UK, Continental Europe and Asia. Over the last 30 years, Dawn Meats has become a highly integrated production, sales, marketing, and distribution operation with a clear focus on quality meat products.  Our credentials as a sustainable business are established, through responsible sourcing and sharing the benefits of a collaborative approach to innovation and best practice with our suppliers and customers.  Dawn Meats provide on-going leadership on initiatives which support the commercial & environmental sustainability of agriculture.  We continually work in partnership with our farmer suppliers and sponsor local events and charities which enhance our relationship with the local communities where we operate. In addition to supporting national industry bodies, we also take an active part on the global stage through our engagement with the European-based Sustainable Agriculture Initiative (SAI Platform) and participation in the Global Roundtable for Sustainable Beef (GRSB).
