On May 21st the EPIC Programme will be holding a Graduation Ceremony to congratulate clients who have successfully completed the Epic Programme Pre-Employment Training. The certificates will be presented by the Minister for Justice and Equality, Frances Fitzgerald T.D.
Since its start this social inclusion programme has supported 1,443 people from 97 nationalities through training, one-to-one support and work experience opportunities. Of those engaged with the service, 1,220 have been placed in employment, training or internships opportunities.
The celebration will feature guest speakers: Sharon Vize, HR Director of CPL Resources plc, Steve Costello, Chairman of the EPIC Programme and Awa Gueye and Carina Olivera, Epic Programme graduates.
The EPIC Programme works in partnership with companies such as BT, Accenture, Bank of Ireland, CRH (Roadstone Wood), Davy, eBay, KPMG, Mercury Engineering, O2/Telefonica, Oracle, Veolia/Transdev, CPL, Ericsson, Matheson, ADC Barcode, BWG, Hilton Hotels and Stream Global, NGOs such as Cairde, The Integration Centre, the Dublin City Volunteer Centre and Welfare Appeals and the Citizens Information Service.
