Effective Community Engagement Workshop Series 2017

We are delighted to announce our first workshop this year from the Effective Community Engagement series named Cornerstones of Successful Corporate Community Programmes.

The event will be held on Tuesday 28thFebruary, 10.00 – 12.00 and it will be facilitated byLouise Murray, Senior CR Adviser

Attend this meeting to learn more about:

1. The components of effective community engagement – key stages to strategic  development

2. Hear from CR practitioners who have developed successful community engagement strategies, sharing their expertise and experiences of various community models.

3. Exchange ideas, through peer-to-peer learning and showcasing of best practice, there will be an opportunity to ask questions and learn something new.

Guest speakers:

  • Anne Reynolds is the Community Development Officer with SSE Airtricty. Her role includes managing the company volunteering programme and the community fund project application, review and award process for 26 wind farms across the island of Ireland.  Prior to joining the Renewable Energy/CSR area at SSE Airtricity 10 years ago she worked in Diageo in the Corporate/Public Affairs space.
  • Elaine Hayes is People Development Consultant with Zurich Ireland and is the Corporate Responsibility spokesperson for Zurich Ireland. She is also responsible for Zurich’s strategic community engagement programme ‘Tackle Your Feelings’.
