On November 24th Tina Roche, CEO BITCI will present at the Prosper Your Business breakfast briefing to review issues affecting key stakeholders in 2012.

Better Together is a nationwide campaign which aims to build support for hundreds of charities, clubs and associations across the country by encouraging the public to support these good causes and make a difference in their communities.

During National Corporate Responsibility Week, many of our member companies host their own internal CR Week's. Here are some of the highlights.

Some of Ireland’s leading companies gathered today at a special ‘Business Impact in Cork’ event hosted by Janssen Biologics as part of National Corporate Responsibility Week

The countdown is very much on to National CR Week 2011. The launch, this coming Tuesday 4^th October is kindly hosted by BITCI member PwC.

Now in their eighth year, the Awards continue to go from strength to strength with more new companies entering this year.

On Wednesday August 31^st, Business in the Community Ireland will launch our Business Impact Map profiling the impacts 33 of our member companies have made on society.

The Great Workplace ‘How to build it, how to keep it and why it matters’

The BITCI CR Week (October 15th - 19th) will be dedicated to highlighting key issues and exemplars on various aspects of CR in Ireland through a series of events to take place each day of the week in the areas of community, workplace, marketplace, environment and corporate responsibility communications. A week of activities will coincide with the publicaton of the 4th volume of Best Practice case studies of CSR in ireland entitled Inspiring Excellence 2007, this year with 51 examples from 27 member companies.

The fifth annual President's Awards for Corporate Social Responsibility will take place in the Burlington Hotel on the 26th of September. The 2007 awards is a partnership of Chambers Ireland with Business in the Community Ireland (BITCI) and is in association with the Department of Community, Rural and Gaeltacht Affairs.

This BITC organized conference offered business executives the opportunity to learn about the challenges faced by leading Irish, British and European companies when integrating social, environmental and stakeholder concerns into their business strategy and operations and equally explores the recent successes which have been achieved.
