VENUE: Merrion Hotel, Merrion St Upper, Dublin 2

TIME: 6.30pm - 8.00pm

On the 11th May, CEOs and Managing Directors of BITC’s member companies will gather for the annual private networking event. This exclusive business event showcases how business is embedding corporate responsibility into their everyday practices and how our members are working together to ensure Ireland is a responsible and sustainable place to do business.

This event is an opportunity to update members on key achievements of the network, and consider the future direction and ambitions of the network.

This year the keynote speaker is Michael Green, CEO of the Social Progress Imperative (SPI).  SPI’s mission is to improve the quality of life for people around the world by advancing global social progress.  Michael Green founded SPI alongside Harvard Business School Professor Michael Porter and US Business Editor of The Economist Matthew Bishop.  On the evening, we will explore why economic growth, measured as GDP, is failing as an accurate predictor of a nation’s progress, and assess the business implications, together with what new measures will support Irish business to thrive in the long term.

In addition, the following member CEOs will update on the work of the BITCI Leaders’ Group:

  • Alastair Blair, Country Managing Director, Accenture
  • Fintan Slye, Chief Executive Officer, EirGrid
