About Inspiring Excellence
Business in the Community Ireland has been collating examples of best practice in corporate responsibility in its member companies since 2003. Updated annually, Inspiring Excellence shines a light on sustainability in action in companies in Ireland to encourage businesses of all sizes to promote and communicate their responsible business practices. Inspiring Excellence is a testament to the companies that have committed to continuously improve their social and environmental impact and embed sustainable business practices into the fabric of their operations.
To qualify for entry, members must examine the impact of a practice, the stakeholder consultation involved and what is required for continuous improvement so that the company and the stakeholders benefit equally. Over 240 examples of excellence in 55 companies in Ireland now exist! This unique collection of positive impact stories focus on the areas of Environmental Impact, Sustainable Procurement, Customer Service, Workplace Practices, Community Involvement, & CR Management & Communications.
